Speech Title: The biopsychosocial approach to patients, a pending issue in the Mexican healthcare system
Biography: Prof. Montserrat Carranza, a leader in biopsychosocial health with a comprehensive and preventive vision. I graduated from UNIR Mexico with a Master’s in Health Management and Administration, and from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a Bachelor’s in Nursing Sciences, along with a Diploma in Ophthalmology.
My main objective has always been to deliver excellent service. That’s why I founded Sintonia Wellness Center, a place where people can undergo various procedures, have a personalized medical history, and be referred to the right specialist. I also work as a registered nurse at Centro Médico Zambrano Hellion, where I have participated in multiple research and education projects in ophthalmology. I am passionate about improving the quality of life for my patients by understanding the reasons behind diseases and providing proper follow-up. Close patient support is the key.
