Leadership Styles, Management Practices, and Their Effect on Nursing Performance in Selected Home Health Care Settings
Biography: Marimerlyn Barroga Narito is a licensed Filipino registered nurse recognized for her extensive experience in clinical, community, and home health care settings. She successfully passed the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination and later obtained her HAAD license in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Her professional journey demonstrates a steadfast commitment to patient centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous professional development.
She began her nursing career as a volunteer nurse at Pasay General Hospital and the Philippine Red Cross–Pasay Chapter, where she gained substantial exposure to emergency response, community health initiatives, and public health education. As a Red Cross 143 volunteer, she received training in first aid and served as an instructor in disaster management, HIV and AIDS awareness, and community health, knowledge and skills that strengthened her foundation in both clinical and community-based practice.
Her clinical background includes service as a psychiatric staff nurse at The Clinic of the Holy Spirit, Inc., where she provided specialized mental health nursing care. She later expanded her expertise in home health care through roles at Bangkok Home Health Care Services and Al Shrooq Health Services Center. Since 2015, she has established herself as a dedicated Home Health Care and Wound Care Nurse, delivering compassionate and evidence-based care to diverse patient populations.
