Speech Title: The Value of Certification in Infection Prevention & Control, Is it Significant?
Biography: Ms. Shazia has been working as an Infection Control Specialist in Saudi Arabia for the past 9 years. She was graduated in Nursing and completed her masters of science in clinical psychology, and Masters in Business Administration afterwards. She holds a certification in Infection Control (CIC) & Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). Expert in the field of Infection Control, Quality, safety audits, and compliance. She is also serving as a volunteer of Infection Control Auditor at MOH Saudi Arabia. She has a numerous participations as a speaker at different conferences, courses and diploma programs on infection control and quality. She has contributed as a principal author in certain research articles and published in peer reviewed journals. Moreover, based on her expertise and evident skills in teaching and mentoring for infection control certification, She has been chosen as a first Ambassador for the certification board of infection control & epidemiology – CBIC in Jan 2024.
